Planned services for children in Ontario
Speechie is being built for children from toddlers to early school age. Services will be delivered by a speech-language pathologist registered with CASLPO, starting with virtual appointments across Ontario.
Not yet open. These pages describe what the service will look like once registration is confirmed. Nothing on this site is an offer of speech-language pathology services today. The free tools and guides are available now.

How Speechie plans to work
A conversation first
A short call about what you are noticing, your child's history and what you want from support. No charge, no commitment.
Assessment
Play-based observation, a parent interview and standardized measures where they add information. You receive a written summary in plain language.
A plan you are part of
Goals set with you, sessions that include coaching, and short daily practice at home, which is where much of the progress happens.
Progress that is measured
Goals are tracked with real measures, and the plan changes when the data says it should.
What Speechie will not do
- Promise outcomes. Children progress at different rates and no clinician can guarantee results.
- Recommend more therapy than the assessment supports. Sometimes the right plan is monitoring and home strategies.
- Replace public services you are entitled to. If a free program is the better fit, that will be the recommendation.
Fees
Fees will be published on this page before services open. Private speech-language pathology is not covered by OHIP; many extended health plans cover part of the cost.
